Our client is an international and leading provider of business support systems within the telecoms industry, with more than 20 years of experience.
Our client requires an individual to join the pre-sales team to learn the ins and outs of large enterprise software sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for exposure to all aspects of the high-value software sales cycle. Including but not limited to customer engagement, requirements analysis, solution design, system configuration, commercial engagement, and contracting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company servicing customers around the world. Travel will be required, sometimes at short notice, often to interesting places. This position involves a hybrid arrangement where you will be going 1 day a week to their offices in Brussels.

You should have a computer science degree or a self-taught and comprehensive understanding of IT basics (see below) and yet also combine this with an ability to work well in groups, strong delivery when presenting, and good critical reasoning skills.

Education, qualifications & special training
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) Minimum of 2:1 in a technical subject.
Or BA in arts with MSC/supplementary degree in a technical area.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent literacy and numeracy
Problem solving skills
Well organised and self motivated
Willingness and flexibility with travelling
Fluent in at least a one European language (ideally French, Spanish or German)

Essential technical knowledge

SQL/DBMS Experience
Programming basics
Unix/linux scripting

Desirable technical knowledge

.net/VB programming
