Solution Architect (Telecoms Software Solutions Sales)

Our client is one of the world's largest Telecommunications software companies and counts many of the major Telco Service Providers in Italy as its clients.

The client is looking for someone to lead the solution sales effort from inception to sale by educating customers as well as internal stakeholderson the value of my client's BSS/OSS and network solutions, building and extending customer relationships as well as driving business development, go-to-market strategy, and able to present at CxO level and SVP level (you will mostly be working with large existing customers in Italy and Europe).

The role will involve creating solutions to customers’ unique and complex business challenges (such as deploying SD-WAN solutions, introducing Fiber-based multi-play and 5G slicing solutions), ensuring solution meets customer business and technical needs by leveraging my client's assets partners and best practices while integrating with customer ITenvironment.

The role:• You will lead the solution design throughout the sales lifecycle and be accountable for solution integrity• You will gain insight into a customer's environment, challenges, and opportunities in order to propose areas where our client's products and solutions can add value. You will ensure the proposed solution reflects the value proposition and competitive advantage• You will maintain deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, standards, and competition in order to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics• You will share and communicate end-to-end solutions (orally and in writing) to executives, business sponsors, and technical resources• You will design the cost-effective solution that maximizes value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements• You will collaborate with account executives in creating a winning sales strategy• You will create and support proof of concept (POC)/demos and present solutions to the client• You will provide ongoing feedback to product management for continued enhancement ofproduct roadmap

Requirements• Several years’ experience in the communications industry – BSS/OSS and Network Management• Strong background with building solutions for BSS/OSS & NFV including several years’ solutions architecture / sales engineering experience, with requirements analysis, and solution design• Highly skilled in communication/presentations at both the technical and executive level• Deep customer-facing experience, including CxO and senior operations and network stakeholders• Wide knowledge of relevant products and end-to-end business processes in the telecom industry, and knowledge of relevant industry standards• Must have experience in a leading team in cross-domain solutions• Familiar with the market and telecommunications landscape including (if possible) Wireless / RAN / Core / 5G.
