We re hiring a Simulation Infrastructure software engineer in our autonomy software team. In this role, you ll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Engineering (hardware and software), and Operations to develop and improve our simulation infrastructure. You ll be researching, designing and implementing enhancements as a core member of the team.You re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will

- Play an integral role on a small and focused team
- Design and implement infrastructure to run large scale autonomous vehicle simulation in the cloud
- Design and implement metrics pipelines to evaluate robot performance
- Design and implement simulation tooling enabling creation of scenarios & analysis of simulation results.
- Collaborate with autonomy teams and operations to build extensive simulation coverage to contribute to ensuring the safety of our autonomous vehicles.
- Experience with parallel data processing frameworks. E.g Sparks, MapReduce, Apache Beam
- Experience with the containerization ecosystem (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience leveraging AWS ecosystem to build large scale processing pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of data structures and advanced algorithms.
- Strong C++ experience
- MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, or related technical field
