This newly formed team enables access to high-quality datasets for our analytical partners by building scalable data products About the role The Business & Analytical Data engineering team is looking for a Senior Manager to join our team of data engineers supporting analytical needs across the organization. This role will be adding value from day one by filling the gap between product/3rd party generated data and the needs of analytical consumers. This role will establish key certified datasets in the marketing and engagement space through which we would understand customer journeys better and establish core certified datasets as part of the Enterprise data model. The ideal candidate is someone with a background in Data Engineering who has a consistent track record of building and operating high-impact data engineering teams. They are someone who is able to translate customer needs into strong data engineering solutions. They are also able to drive clarity for others in the face of ambiguous problems and are able to set the correct levels of priorities and areas of investment for the team. Core Responsibilities Develop a roadmap and DE solutions to support marketing and engagement analytics Drive strategic discussions and prioritize solutions based on stakeholder needs Lead a team of Data engineers in building scalable data products and solutions Bring technical thought leadership to Data Engineering space at Zillow Partner with Data platform, data governance teams in bringing in best in class DE solutions across the organization. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $187,100.00 - $298,900.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations. A proven track record of building and scaling DE teams An ability to work with partners across the organization and developing the right prioritization frameworks.
