Thymoorgan Pharmazie GmbH exists since 1981 and is part of the international Hikma. Group that mainly produces and markets generic drugs. At the plant in Goslar, in the Vienenburg district, Thymoorgan currently has around 120 employees producing cytotoxic injection solutions for cancer treatment. Hikma employs around 8,700 people at 108 locations worldwide and is constantly growing, especially in the European market.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Specialist (m/f/d) for our manufacturing site in Goslar, Lower-Saxony, Germany .
Dimension:
The Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware/software and related infrastructure. Responsible for planning, designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the EU Region company s infrastructure. Maintains documentation and technical writing of the policies and SOP s along with ensuring that security of infrastructure is under compliance. Design systems and assess the effectiveness of technology resources already in use or new systems that are being implemented. Additionally, the Sr. IT Infrastructure Specialist will determine the practicality of changes and modification of systems. You also work with external partners, including consultants and vendors, to arrive at the most appropriate system or integration of multiple systems. You should be able to act as local PMO for projects localization drilled down from corporate as part of global alignment.
The job includes mandatory business trips (usually once per month) to our entity in Munich (Germany).
Your tasks:
Provides coverage and support for Network operations and
Information Technology Department as directed by manager
Monitors servers (including backup process, security
management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server,
internet access, office systems and applications support)
Monitors technologies, and standards and configures network
devices as directed
Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing
infrastructure plan
Assists with technology planning through ongoing research
dentifies problems as they occur and ensures proper steps are
taken to resolve those problems. Initiates corrective action under
direction of department manager
Works with systems for endpoint device management. Includes
software distribution, updates, patching virus protection, and
imaging to ensure optimal deployment of resources
Ensures regularly scheduled technical tasks are accomplished on
time
Performs technology needs analysis. Research, recommend, and
apply new technologies as they emerge
Analyses log files and investigate and correct or record errors
that are discovered
Clearly documents features, technical specifications, and
infrastructure requirements for self-produced technical work and
job processes. As well as documents compliance for future
reference and audit
Follows procedures, backups, troubleshooting, and health
checks, completion and sign-off
Maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options,
and maintaining accurate records.
Manages small to medium sized projects local or corporate
driven according to agree upon budgets and schedules
Your qualification:
_Minimum: High School or Academic Degree_
Preferred : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science preferred or similar field
strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high paced, fast changing environment.
strong English/German language capabilities both in spoken and written
Results-oriented
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while being able to work with a diverse team with varying skill level
5+ years of experience in the following fields:
Solid networking and system administration - Understanding of network switches, routers, and firewalls is required
SAN storage using both iSCSI and Fiber Channel
Active Directory/Office 365/Azure
Hyper-V / VSphere and or VMWare
Windows Server and Windows Clustering
SQL Server Administration
