As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the vision of building and supporting a global platform to run our services through an infrastructure-as-code approach to managing technology. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Engineering, the Infrastructure Engineer will support the build-out of our global infrastructure; optimize, monitor, and scale platform infrastructure; and configure and deploy new workloads across Hybrid, Multi-Cloud environments.
The key responsibilities for this role are as follows
Support, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues with a focus on building automated solutions
Build, configure, document, and deploy Infrastructure and systems supporting our application and services
Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement and implement any relevant configuration changes
Implement automated delivery pipelines to ensure timely delivery of applications, systems, infrastructure, and related upgrades
Solve technical problems in collaboration with colleagues from the technology teams as well as functional stakeholders
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship within the team, among the department, and across the organization
Adhere to workload management practices and ensure all work is tracked and recorded appropriately
5+ Years' experience in a technical role with a minimum of 2+ years building and supporting Azure cloud platforms
Strong technical skills and experience in cloud & virtualization platforms - VMware, Azure & Containers (AKS)
Experience in supporting and administering Windows Server OS, AD, Exchange, Azure, and Office 365 platforms. Strong PowerShell Knowledge is essential.
Experience in implementing and maintaining monitoring platforms such as Netreo, ELK, Splunk SCOM, etc desirable
Experience in Storage & Backup Administration
Strong understanding of cloud-native applications, networks, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
Strong understanding of IT Security and Data Protection Platforms
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to drive and maintain a high standard of operational support, project delivery, and associated documentation
Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to tasks and challenges
Remote work is available as long as you are living in Ireland and hold a Valid Visa or Residency.
