Job Description As a member of the Product Education team, you will be responsible for aspects of external education, specifically in the Mandiant Security Validation platform. This is a dual-hatted role that features a technical aspect that is responsible for understanding the platform including the capabilities of our enterprise Security Instrumentation Platform (SIP), the ability to answer questions and give guided support to customers with the use of SIP, deployment of the platform, and general use of the platform and its dashboards. As a technical, functional role, it includes training delivery, course development, and documentation support. The successful candidate will work with a sense of purpose and urgency, can prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate keen attention to detail resulting in the delivery of high-quality work products. Successful candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment developing computer-based training and in-person education materials. Demonstrated abilities in thought leadership, technical competencies in security and architecture, multitasking, cross-collaboration, and a high capacity to learn are imperative. This position is remote, but there is a 50% travel opportunity globally. What you will do: Deliver classroom training to a variety of technical audiences Provide support for cyber security course development efforts, including product research, providing subject matter expertise, and training content review Create, update, and maintain slide decks and lab exercises for customer-facing training Assist with updates for course descriptions, syllabi, and other collateral pertaining to external education Provide product expertise and guidance to customers on the use of Mandiant Security Validation SIP to improve their ability to detect, block, alert and respond to cyber security threats. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including internationally, to support a global customer base (post-covid) 3+ years experience as a technical trainer/sales engineer / professional services consultant or equivalent technical position 2+ years experience with Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.) 2+ years experience with SIEM and the relationship between alerting and correlation rule triggering 1+ years experience with a Programming language and scripting knowledge, with basic experience Previous history working with government customers Experience with delivering ILT and VILT courses in cybersecurity-related topics (e.g., digital forensics, intrusion detection, incident response) to highly technical audiences Ability to quickly grasp highly technical concepts and clearly communicate these technical concepts in live presentations Strong technical foundation in security technologies, focusing on one or more areas - Threat Intelligence, SIEM, Security Analytics, Orchestration, etc. Experience working with security operations teams and/or having a strong understanding of organizations' security practices and programs Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives Familiarity with Agile Methodologies Desired Qualifications: Cyber security-relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, GIAC GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, etc.) Demonstrated aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and services Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to establish rapport with clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and excellent organization and follow-up skills Experience presenting findings to various levels of stakeholders Ability to coach students and assess their technical capabilities, processes, and procedures as they investigate simulated attack scenarios Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively within all levels of an organization Able to function efficiently and effectively in a fast-moving and demanding environment Additional Information As a U.S. federal contractor, Mandiant has adopted a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy to comply with our obligations under applicable laws and requirements. Minimum Salary: 90,000.00. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations. Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from Mandiant's Compensation Committee, and vesting terms.
