We are the Data and AI Platform Technology team within Visa. We collaborate with every other team at Visa to deliver on our broad mandate of Data and AI Platforms that are secure, robust, and effective. As the Principal Technical Product Manager for Privacy and Governance area, you'll drive our platform forward as you build out our Privacy strategy.
In this role, you will drive Data Privacy initiatives across Visa, working with global teams in all areas of technology.

Deeply understand, articulate, and teach others about the needs of data privacy and governance at Visa.
Create thoughtful POV and concept proposals as narratives on data privacy and governance. Invite and facilitate collaborative input and discussions, leading to measurable improvements in our data privacy and governance.
Working with internal customers, strategize and effectively champion requirements and customer outcomes for data privacy as a product within Visa.
As a Product Owner, responsible for the realization of agile team customer outcomes.
Role model identifying problems/opportunities/innovations, aligning to the overall DP strategy and portfolio.
Role model and teacher of effective customer communication, surveys, feedback loops, and experiments.
Initiate and lead build-out of systemic improvements in automation, usability, quality, and more in the areas of data privacy and governance.
Works with operation and engineering teams to ensure reliable operation and SLAs met or exceeded.
Design and oversee User Acceptance Testing and exceed requirements and user experience expectations.
Creates and leads TPM relevant improvement initiatives. Mentors others in leadership for same.
Build and maintain strong relationships with data platform architects and partner with legal, business and technology teams globally.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

You have 12+ years of proven ability as a Technical Product Manager, working with technical teams defining Enterprise class software applications and a degree or equivalent in a Computer Science or related technical discipline.
Require experience with and demonstrated knowledge of Privacy regulations and related technologies.
Require experience with some Data and AI Platform technologies (Hadoop, Hive, etc).
Understanding of technologies and products required to bring data governance and privacy solutions to the enterprise at scale.
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration, able to work well in a global matrix management environment.
Excellent analytical skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
