Our client is a UK headquartered, 250-300 person solutions provider of content delivery solutions in the broadcast media space. The business is part of one of Canada's largest software companies and is therefore well-backed financially and sells solutions to the likes of Telefonica, Vodafone, Sky, and Liberty Global as customers.

They are looking for an innovative and driven technical lead to join their growing commercial team in EMEA. Armed with your previous experience in complex technology, you will provide your valuable knowledge, skills, and insight to position them within the market and drive the success of their next generation of content delivery and video personalisation software.

Your responsibilities

My client is an ambitious and close-knit team utilising the latest tools and processes to drive their growth within the market. As one of the team you will be responsible for the following.

• Engaging with and educating our customers about the competitive solutions and personalization platforms my client has to offer (personalised video advertising for on-demand TV for example).• Providing technical insight and consultation on the product line, identifying and showcasing solutions for our customers' key needs.• Managing and assisting in the delivery of demonstrations of products and services.• Understanding complex market requirements and generating new ideas to grow market commercial reach.

Your experience

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Science or related field.• 5+ years’ experience working in complex technology industries, ideally within the service provider / content provider (CDN / content delivery networks) market.• Knowledgeable and intuitive – you will be an authority in your technical product area, comfortable communicating with a range of external senior stakeholders in geographies across the region.• Facilitator and leader – you will have exceptional communication skills and be quick to identify, act on and document new opportunities for success.

• Candidates coming from delivery / solutions consultant roles that are interested in moving to a more commercial role working on PoCs / RFP / RFI processes will also be considered along with sales engineers / technical account managers / presales consultants.
