We're looking for an experienced Mobile Retentions Manager to join our growing Mobile Retentions team.

Reporting into the Head of Direct Mobile Sales, we need someone who would thrive on retaining business and keeping the customer happy.

The Role:

  • Retain GM month on month within account base
  • High energy/volume outbound and inbound sales calls
  • Make business decisions based on protecting base and maintaining growth
  • Communicate directly and effectively with clients
  • Generate Telecoms and ICT sales to new and existing customers
  • Prepare proposals and monthly reports
  • Achievement of monthly KPIs and targets
  • Develop and maintain up to date product/service knowledge and market information
  • Liaising with team members to maximise the database potential
  • Create leads for other areas of the business
  • Landscaping existing Chess customers capturing contract end dates relating to the chess portfolio of products
  • Building a nurture pipeline to log leads to the sales team at the right point of contract for the customer
  • Contacting previously captured data to cleanse and reignite the opportunity
  • Cleansing customer data
  • Working with other sales teams to generate cross sale opportunities
  • Calling prospective new customers to chess
  • High volume of outbound / inbound sales activity
  • Develop and maintain up to date product/service knowledge and market information

The Candidate:

  • Experience in an account manager role and / or retention role
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet growth targets
  • Excellent telephone sales skills and be able to articulate the value of staying with Chess
  • Effective communicator with superb negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Self-development
  • Adaptable to change
  • Good mathematical ability
  • Problem solver with good analytical skills
  • Telecom's knowledge/experience is preferred

Salary details: Up to 23,000 dependent on experience

Hours: A standard week is 37 Monday to Friday

Working location:Hybrid working position

Allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of working from home whilst also having the option to work from one of our many local hubs spread throughout the UK. Ad-hoc travel to offices within the group and other locations may be required on occasion.
