The Manager of Infrastructure Operations position requires an individual with a background in directing and coordinating the activities of both onsite and remote technology staff engaged in computer operations, desktop support, system administration, and general enterprise support.
This individual is responsible for the management of infrastructure across a diverse, multi-campus environment and must be able to lead the evaluation, documentation, and policy development efforts affecting, but not limited to, server and desktop software and hardware implementation and utilization, enterprise backups, business continuity, and disaster recovery.:

* Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, budgeting, and evaluation of the Infrastructure Operations team, including assignment and direction of work, appraisal of performance, and resolution of problems.
* Responsible for the overall direction, scoping, estimation, budgeting, coordination, standardization, and execution of infrastructure projects in support of the system and its member organizations with an ongoing focus on stewardship of the system's resources.
* Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of successful relationships with the leadership of the system and its member organizations via an ongoing commitment to strong communication skills, appropriate usage of escalation, accountability for the department's duties, and timely execution of assigned tasks.
* Responsible for reporting on performance and utilization of human and capital resources as well as project statuses to information technology, system, and member organization leadership.
* Responsible for an ongoing pursuit of knowledge, necessary to improve the support provided to the system and its member organizations, through formal training and informal research and analysis of industry trends including cost or time saving opportunities as well as breaking-news threat analysis; all including an ongoing effort to socialize the gained knowledge with the system and member organizations.
* Other duties as assigned.:

* Bachelor's degree and five years of work experience in infrastructure operations; masters preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of development and maintenance of Windows Server roles.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Directory Services.
* Working knowledge of storage technologies including SAN and NAS systems.
* Working knowledge of data backup technologies and practices.
* Working knowledge of data center virtualization technologies and practices.
* Working knowledge of network operations and related technologies.:

* Enterprise server management certifications; examples include:
o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE)
o Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator
* Enterprise server virtualization certifications; examples include:
o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
o VMware Certified Professional 2020 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV 2020)
* Security, Project Management, Heath Information; examples include:
o CompTIA Security+
o CompTIA Project+
o CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician
* Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery certifications; examples include:
o DRI International Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP)
o Certificate of the BCI (CBCI):
