Job Description
As a Manager of Engineering you will manage a team of multiple platforms engineers working on projects deploying solutions for Conduent's customers. Your team will work alongside project team members to plan, design, and implement resilient and secure solutions. You will work with your peers on the leadership team to ensure timely project delivery and helping the project teams overcome roadblocks to delivery.
We need someone who can:
Allocates resources to meet the demands of the business
Manages several cross-functional teams around the globe
Ensures effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Engages internal and external stakeholders, working closely with leaders across IT, the business and all service delivery leads to provide clear direction
Provides leadership and direction for the Engineering staff
Coordinates with project managers on engagement lifecycle
Monitors active projects and task to ensure that delivery dates and expectations are being met
Establishes processes for engaging the Engineer staff
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent working experience
Minimum of 3 years people leadership and management experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Minimum of 5 years experience with technology project delivery
A strong understanding of solution design, security concepts, and related technologies
Strong communication, decision making and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to work under pressure and take responsibility during situation management
Agree to work independently to carry out on-call duties as scheduled
