Job Description LibertyWorks Product Cyber Security Engineer Indianapolis, IN An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Cyber Security Engineer. Your focus will be on helping to secure the LibertyWorks products against an increasingly diverse and complex range of threats. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working together to tackle technical challenges in a stimulating and collaborative environment. Innovate and Power the World In this role, you will be either a cyber security engineer with knowledge, experience or interest in safety-critical embedded systems, or an engineer (electrical, computer, software or systems) with understanding of safety-critical embedded systems and an interest in cyber security with an innovative team. Key Accountabilities: Work with LibertyWorks programs to determine the technology and processes required to meet customer requirements for system security against cyber threats. Collaborate with government and commercial clients, our supply-chain, and industry experts to enhance cyber security capability and tools for LibertyWorks programs. Assess existing and developmental products against cyber requirements, including vulnerability assessments and testing. Implement cyber security best practices in our product design and development infrastructure. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience in a relevant engineering environment (Electrical, Software, Controls, Systems), or Masters degree in a STEM discipline Phd/JD in a STEM discipline To be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen Preferred Requirements Some knowledge of embedded systems and the technical skills required to develop, implement and secure such systems Experience or interest in cyber security and cyber threats (e.g. experience of: designing secure networks, systems and applications; intrusion detection; IT forensics; disaster recovery; risk assessment tools and methods, end-point security solutions; security policies, standards and procedures, etc.) An interest in novel and emerging technology solutions and how they might be used to enhance cyber security Outcome-focused, with good problem-solving abilities, including an aptitude for finding practical solutions to complex technical problems Collaborative and curious, with good communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a concise and logical way The ability to achieve or be willing to undergo a high-level US security clearance is required for this role Pioneer the next generation of innovation.
