As an experienced Infrastructure Support professional within the Managed File Transfer (MFT) team, your relentless dedication to innovation will have a positive ripple effect on both innovation and the people who make it. You'll put your experience to work across the board, leading an incredibly talented team in areas like change management, incident management, and problem management. You'll be responsible for management communication and client relationship management. You'll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team's functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with our overall strategy. You'll oversee areas like incident management, change management, impact identification, management communication, risk and controls, client relationship management, service improvement, discovery/gathering/documenting of business needs, data and requirements. You'll coach, manage and mentor people, both in-house and in working collaboration with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: + BS/BA degree or equivalent experience + Expertise in product and infrastructure support + Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met + Ability to execute within a customer-centric environment + Extensive work experience configuring and troubleshooting file transfer protocols, ciphers, and encryption (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, AS2 and hands on experience in implementing/renewing SSH and SSL certificates and PGP Keys) + Production Support, testing and debugging of automated tasks (Apps, Systems, Infrastructure) + Experience developing frameworks that reduce operational toil or application technical debt while maintaining a high degree of system availability + Strong experience in Linux, Shell scripting, PERL Scripting, and SQL + Having experience in operating in the SRE model and exposure in using tools like AIM, BITBUCKET, JENKINS and Knowledge on DOCKER and Kubernetes is a plus + Prior experience with any of the following is desired: Java, Angular6, Perl, Shell with respect to designing, coding, testing, software delivery, and support Primary Responsibilities: + Technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system integration, ongoing data validation processes, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainability of technical solutions + Develop, test and debug automated tasks (Apps, Systems, Infrastructure) + Building applications, installing patches and break fixes for enterprise applications + Release Management, Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management. + Rich knowledge in implementing ITIL process and Agile Methodology + Trouble shooing priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems + Working with application development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases + Performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions + Building and driving adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns + Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands + Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed What's in it for you: + Gain exposure to SRE practices, learn to run better production applications and systems within the Managed File Transfer (MFT) space.
