The Opportunity
The Company is looking for a driven AML/KYC Manager to be based full time in their London office. The manager needs to be the main contact between the AML/KYC Team and the Head of Compliance and the Head of Regulation. The qualifying candidate will manage and supervise the firm’s AML/CTF Framework, including client onboarding, offboarding, Transaction Monitoring and chain analytics. The Manager will also provide strategic information and knowledge working with senior management to secure regulatory and compliance risks are in dealt with, at the same time monitoring and backing relevant projects from conception to implementation.
AML/KYC/Financial Crime Manager role will cover AML/KYC, Financial Crime areas.
Main Responsibilities:

Fostering a culture of compliance throughout the business
Providing direct support to the MLRO and owning the firm’s AML/CTF framework.
Own applicable policies and procedures, make sure they are up-to-date and take the lead of any changes needed
Guiding the business in relation to relevant regulatory compliance matters on a day-to-day basis
Provide guidance, advice, and training to the business in relation to current and upcoming regulations
Help with the development and production of management information


Requirements

At least 5 years relevant experience, preferably gained in a financial services or regulatory environment
Experience in the main responsibilities of the role is preferable
Good knowledge of Wholesale Financial Markets including understanding of applicable rules and regulations
Experience and/or genuine interest in transformation and the crypto realm
Able to disect and understand information from a regulatory and commercial angle
MLRs knowledge and experience is desirable.
Ability and willingness to take ownership, responsibility and accountability of projects
Excellent Project Management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills including problem solving and solution-orientated thinking
Able to use initiative, work unsupervised and comfortable taking responsibility
Energetic personality with the drive to effect change and develop relationships across all levels of the business
Degree or relevant industry qualifications - desirable
