We currently have a full-time career opening within Information Security to lead our Threat Operations team. _Job Description_ Cardinal Health needs a strong candidate to lead the Cyber Incident Response team. The candidate should have experience in dealing with complex cyber security incidents at scale and enabling continuous improvement of critical operational functions. This candidate will partner with internal managers in Application Security, Purple, Threat Operations, and Engineering to create a highly effective team for the Cyber Operations group and the enterprise. This team and manager will have the ability to take immediately known, best-in-class intelligence and instantly respond to protect the enterprise. What is expected of you and others at this level + Build and lead through collaboration, mentoring, and skill training, strong focus on employee development. + Provide diverse thought and promote an inclusive environment + Ability to quickly build relationships, earn trust and gain business support for ideas, proposals, and solutions + Strong interpersonal, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. + Diagnostic Information Gathering:Identifying the information needed to clarify a situation, seeking that information from appropriate sources, and using skillful questioning to draw out the information when others are reluctant to disclose it. + Fostering Innovationand Automation: Developing, sponsoring, or supporting the introduction of new and improved methods, products, procedures, or technologies. + Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to different levels within and outside of the organization. + Strategic Thinking:Analyzing an organization's competitive position and goals and aligning cyber defense strategy based on Threat Intelligence Accountabilities in this role + Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of Incident Response concepts, principles, and technical capabilities + Recruit, develop, and operationalize a highly effective Incident Response team + Collaborating across Information Security and business partners to ensure effective, precise, and rapid response + Point of escalation from within the Incident Response team to drive all cyber incidents managed by the SIRT team partner closely with Crisis Mgmt. + Drive continuous improvement in the efficacy of Incident Response services + Understanding of KPI and operational metrics to facilitate continuous improvement of Incident Response Services + Proficiency and understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response, Identity, Cloud, and Networktechnologies + Articulating high quality incident reports to either a technical or executive audiences + Regular communication with leadership on trending vulnerabilities and threat actors' activity + Coaching and mentoring senior analysts and engineers on the team Required Qualifications: + Experience in Security Operations in a medium to large enterprise + Knowledge and execution of Incident Response + Experience and understanding of how a high-functioning Security Operations Center (SOC) operates Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in leading teams as manager or individual contributor/lead capacity + Demonstrated Information Security understanding and specifically industry best practices for Incident Response + One or more Information Security Certifications preferred, but not required: CISSP or CISM + Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience. _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
