We seek to hire a 5G Security Architect to work with our customers to define and execute the strategy for achieving adoption of secure and resilient 5G technology that supports the needs of the US Government and the nation's critical infrastructure.
Define 5G enterprise security architectures.
Develop threat frameworks against 5G architectures.
Perform systems engineering for enterprise solutions that include 5G.
Define and perform 5G proof-of-concept experimentation
Assess security threats associated with 5G use cases and develop mitigations to address those threats.
Typically requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of related experience; a Master's degree with 3-8 years related experience; or a PhD with 0-5 relevant years of experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
Knowledge of LTE/5G security-related standards.
Experience with information security threats and mitigation techniques.
Effective communications and presentation skills.
Obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
Experience working for a Tier 1 vendor or Mobile Network Operator.
Participation in 3GPP, ITU, IETF, ETSI or related standards bodies.
Experience with software defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) technologies.
Knowledge of enterprise security architectures and zero trust principles.
Knowledge of identity management and cryptography technologies.
Experience with container and/or cloud technologies.
Experience with orchestration and optimization of operational technologies.
