RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce is working with a global investment firm located in New York, NY and they are searching for a Wireless Manager with at least 4+ years of wireless experience. Summary We are seeking an individual to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and optimize the campus wide Cisco wireless enterprise infrastructure supporting mission critical building systems and amenities on the converged network. This is a highly technical, hands-on position which will require advanced experience with Cisco networks. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Operations, this role will interact with internal and external teams responsible for the integration of disparate hardware and software systems and will serve as a leadership role for junior level network engineers. Key Tasks Management, support and maintenance of the campus wide Cisco enterprise wireless network Ensuring the continued operation of existing wireless infrastructure to support a variety of systems and services such as Data, Voice, Video and various building systems IOS Upgrades and configuration changes for all wireless network devices Optimizing and Tuning of wireless infrastructure in a multi-building campus environment with 1500 internal and external access points Performing RF surveys and resolve signal and access issues Asset Monitoring and Management Analyzing, optimizing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks Predictive Wireless and Validation surveys Identifying trends and recommending strategies to enhance Wi-Fi coverage and signal strength Identifying and resolving interference sources REQUIREMENTS BSBA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience Active Certification CCNP Wireless required CCIE Wireless preferred but not required Ekahau andor AirMagnet Professional Certifications a plus 7+ years of designing and implementing Wireless networking solutions with Cisco and Aruba (preferred) hardware Experience with Cisco 8500 and 5500 WLC's Experience using Cisco Prime and Mobility Search Engine (MSE) Familiarity with Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) tracking Experience designing and deploying Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) for secure network access Knowledge of Cisco IOSCatOS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms Knowledge of 802.11agn, Cisco WLC, WCS, CAPWAP, LWAP be able to use tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, AirMagnet Spectrum, Ekahau, WiFi, and Survey, to design and support WLANS Knowledge of L2L3 and wireless security features including access-lists, VACLS, firewalls, WPA, TKIP, CCKM, LEAP, etc. Hands-on experience and well versed in utilizing networking tools and applications, such as Cisco Works, SolarWinds, CA, Infinistream, Sniffer, Airmagnet Suite, and TACACS The successful candidate will also be comfortable working in a matrixed environment and will display a proactive approach to problem solving A creative mind, excellent interpersonal skills, and sense of humor are a must for this position Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
