Hood Group are embarking on an innovation journey and we are looking for a forward thinking, creative and passionate Web & Mobile Developer to translate the ideas produced in our Innovation Lab into development solutions. Sitting within our internal development team, you will focus on providing technical development and advice for innovation and data initiatives, collaborating with staff, start-ups, external providers and business partners as well as participating in workshops and internal hackathons.
To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable with change and able to demonstrate a passion for learning new skills and techniques and keeping abreast of changing technologies and solutions. Whilst the main location will be Southend-on-Sea you will need to work on occasions at the Innovation Lab in London.
You must have extensively delivered commercial websites and mobile applications and have experience working within an agile environment using rapid prototyping and test and learn methodologies. You must also be proactive and highly organised with strong time management and planning skills.
Also required :
C#, Xamarin, Bot Builder SDK for .NET, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API), JS, JQuery, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, WCF, EF, UNITY, TDD, XAML (UWP, WPF etc.)
