Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Telecommunications Operator / Contact Center Agent to work in a Call Center environment at various locations throughout the AHS system in NJ working varied shifts. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: The Per Diem Contact Center Agent will need to be flexible enough to cover vacations and call outs as needed, but generally scheduled in advance. The candidate will work in a Call Center environment processing incoming and outgoing calls and ensuring customer resolution and satisfaction. Additional requirements for this position will be to handle a high volume of calls with the capability of responding to all hospital emergencies, via telephone. Candidate will also be trained at various sites to enable the ability to cover as needed. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma a must, some college preferred Requirements: Candidate must have experience in a Call Center environment or the equivalent in a high volume office environment. Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills as demonstrated by previous work experience. Must be able to talk and type simultaneously, to be demonstrated via a typing test.
