Company:Precision Valley Communications is a leading provider of engineering, mapping and design services for cable, telephony and utility customers. With headquarters in Springfield Vermont, PVC also has office locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. PVC's field services include the mapping and design of strand and as-built, as well as make-ready engineering and pole audits.Overview:Precision Valley Communications is seeking individuals with knowledge of RF design. Candidates must have experience with AutoCAD, Lode Data, Bentley Comms and/or MicroStation. Prior telecommunications industry experience is a plus. Individuals with a propensity for gaming often find this role to be a great fit. This position is compensated based on production, leading to strong earnings potential.Responsibilities:Draft and/or design drawings in customer specified format from preliminary design drawings and/or field notesPerforms basic drafting/design computationsComplete system powering using design software, following customer guidelinesTranslate field notes, verbal and written information into CAD drawings and designsOrganize the layout of plans, details and units on the CAD drawingsEnsure all drawings and designs are formatted to company standards and customer specificationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Proficient with AutoCAD, Lode Data, Bentley Comms and/or MicroStationKnowledge of RF DesignProficient in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Office - Word and ExcelPast experience in the telecommunications industry preferredKeen attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines in a timely mannerHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to pass pre-employment background and drug screensIND1Our Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind including, based on disability and protected veteran status.
