**Telecommunications Administrator**Location: Renton, WA (On-Site)Duration: Contract to HireKelly Technology is currently recruiting for Telecommunications Administrator to work on-site at our client in Renton. The ideal candidate will have advanced Cisco Call Manager experience. A Cisco Collaboration certification is highly desired but not a requirement.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Design, deploy, upgrade and maintain voice equipment across the enterprise1. Promptly notify Manager of problems, unexpected tasks and missed targets2. Actively pursue training and knowledge of new systems, and complete training programs as required1. Maintain the security of the Data Center systems and information, per VMC and departmental Information Privacy policies2. Support Manager in controlling expenses; provide input for budgeting departmental needs3. Provide after-hours support as necessary4. Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled5. Perform backups and restores of voice equipment - media gateways, voice mail, E9116. Use voice monitoring tools to evaluate performance, troubleshoot issues, monitor throughput and evaluate configurations7. Day to Day trouble-shooting of phone system, LAN, and WAN8. Maintain cabling infrastructure9. Work effectively with vendors and contractors to deploy and maintain voice systems10. Maintain network and telephony related documentation and associated database for disaster recovery as necessary11. Provide local and remote end user support12. Lead project teams to support network and communications implementations13. Review, understand and provide technical briefings of vendor manuals and documents14. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and greater stabilityUnique Senior Telecommunications Administrator responsibilities:+ Research and recommend application of new technologies+ Deploy, maintain and support enterprise PBX and clinic equipment+ Deploy, maintain and support PRI and call routing environment+ Plan and manage major communications downtimes+ Troubleshoot and lead recovery effort for major voice outages+ Perform software / firmware upgrades for network and telephony equipment+ Backup and restore network and telephony equipment+ Design, upgrade, install voice solutions for business unit, application and clinic needs+ Audit configurations, institute configuration standards, maintain equipment life cyclesQUALIFICATIONS:1. Minimum ten years (10) years of experience in the current or similar environment2. Demonstrated ability to install and troubleshoot voice and data networks and related equipment3. Experience with the following technologies: enterprise switching and routing, call flow, TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, RTCP, digital, analog and VoIP, vectors and phone trees, announcements, ARS routing, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Contact Center Express, feature access codes, DIDs, copper and fiber cabling, QoS, circuit types and voice mail4. Experience troubleshooting call quality issues5. Demonstrated understanding of IP numbering schemes and subnetting6. Experience designing and implementing wired and wireless voice systems7. Experience with packet capture tools and analysis of voice packets8. Demonstrated knowledge of network and communications monitoring tools and utilities9. Experience with AVST voice mail, Brocade switches, Cisco switches and Cisco Unified Call Manager preferred10. Demonstrated continued professional developmentSKILLS:1. Good troubleshooting skills to determine cause and take appropriate action to correct errors2. Ability to configure and install equipment to meet specifications1. Ability to work independently and in teams with good problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Diligent, results-oriented work habits1. Ability to set priorities, produce accurate work, and meet deadlines; ability to function in a setting with a wide variety of duties and numerous interruptions2.
