Telecom Support Technician

Immediate need for a Telecom Support Technician to join a national industry leading company where you can make an impact.

As a member of the Telecom Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to telephones, telephone lines, POTS Lines and PRIs (no VoIP systems).

You will support and track ticketing requests for local and and nationwide branches and escalate issues beyond your ability to vendors for resolution. In order to be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, advance telephony knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

  • 3+ years Telecom Support experience (no VoIP systems)
  • Recent Telecom Support experience supporting one or more of the following systems: Avaya, Norstar, BCM, Nortel, Legend
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience
  • Telecom/hardware installation and support
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and field engineers
  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 3 weeks)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (must be able to work with technical and non-technical users in professional manner)
