The Service Assurance Analyst is responsible for the oversight and high quality execution of the Operational Lifecycle Management Processes in support of the Network Services organization. Core responsibilities will include maturing several key foundational processes including Vulnerability Threat Management and Asset/Inventory Management processes.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Drive the maturation of the Vulnerability Threat Management process. Collaborate closely with Infosec, network engineering and operations teams to remediate security vulnerabilities within the network technology stack.
Lead weekly/monthly Vulnerability assessment meetings with InfoSec and network engineering stakeholders. Engage internal and external service providers to ensure remediation actions are scheduled and completed. Establish baselines, track and report progress.
Mature current Network Asset Management and Inventory processes through data accuracy audits of the CMDB. Report exceptions, track remediation activities and manage metrics.
Manage the upkeep of the Business Application Registry and associated processes
Partner with SME's across network technologies and teams to document formal Procedures and Standards
Participate in network resiliency processes and testing on behalf of Service Assurance team
Provide support of Production Readiness Reviews to ensure proper handoff during service transition
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
6+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Excellent analytical, documentation and process development skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization
ITILv3 Foundations certification
Understanding and experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) model
Strong skills in MS Office suite (Excel), ServiceNow, Confluence and JIRA
Experience with network security vulnerability reports and patch management activities
Basic understanding of network technologies (Router/Switch, Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancer)
Ability to lead small teams for medium complexity projects
ITILv3 Intermediate Certification
Experience working with large managed service provider with complex contractual agreements
