Our Company has one exciting mission: To entertain the human race.The Tech Support Supervisor is responsible for the operation of installation & removal of cabling, cross connects and maintenance of network devices and related infrastructure at T-Mobile Arena. This individual leads a team of technicians to ensure that the network devices & infrastructure and related procedures adhere to organizational standards and values. The Tech Support Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, managing, and supervising the technician team in all areas including performance feedback. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.Work with T-Mobile Arena customers in relation to connection issues with technology devices (Phones, Tablets, or PCs).Work with appropriate personnel to resolve both Wi-Fi and Wired network related issues. Accountable for network elements & associated infrastructure operations including network switches, Wi-Fi, network cabling (fiber and copper), Uninterruptable Power Supplies; and its support and maintenance. Responsible for managing on-call technician's schedules, their day to days tasks, as well as their event related duties.Responsible for supporting the day to day network and telecom infrastructure and its technical needs. This position will also assist with the setup, troubleshooting, and take down for equipment and technology for events at the arena.Manage Vendor relations and partnering of IT, network, computer and server needs.Manage priorities of IT technology between the user departments to evaluate new technologies.Coordination of relocating computer equipment throughout the building.Respond to Virus, Malware and various security threats while implementing preventative measures to minimize risk.Prioritize installation of customer networks for events and shows. Assist and support other team members in resolving any operation issues that impact clients. Work with various 3rd parties to facilitate, manage and execute any special event IT requirements.Provide leadership for the division's human resources responsibilities to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment.Ensure all reporting areas policies, procedures, and practices are consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.Performs all other job related duties as requested.Required:At least 6 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure or related field.Ability to troubleshoot network hardware problems and cable plant issues including Fiber Optic, UTP, STP, etc.Working knowledge of installations, terminations, maintains and troubleshoots network cabling infrastructure including: moves, adds, and changes of any network or related equipment.Working knowledge of LANs, WANs and Wireless Networks.Fluent in all test equipment and can train other on the use of them: Corning Fusion Splicer, Fluke OTDR, Fluke DTX1800, Fluke Simple fiber, Fluke Link Runner Pro.Excellent customer service skills.Able to lead and mentor a team.Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.Professional appearance and demeanor.Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.High school diploma or equivalent.Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms..Preferred:Associates degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange.Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.*This is not intended to include every duty or responsibility of the job nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do this job.#LI-SF1
