My client is a leading consulting firm providing strategy and operational advisory services to global leaders in the communications, digital media, and technology industries.

They are looking for a Principal to drive continued growth of their Strategy practice, and to support the expansion of their work in the PE/Investment sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of bright and dedicated individuals who work on challenging and rewarding projects for TMT industry clients.
The successful candidate will:

Quickly become an integral part of our team, leading projects and managing client relationships
Lead firm and business development activities
Play a key role in managing and developing junior staff
Apply business and technical judgment to develop sound recommendations for our clients

Be an internal thought leader, driving the development of best practices across our work

Recent projects have included:
Network Investment: Help network operators develop business cases to support multi-billion pound fibre network investments.
Content Value: Help content providers understand the value of content on their broadcast and streaming platforms, informing content acquisition and renegotiation strategy.
TV Service Launch: Help international broadcasters develop go-to-market strategies for new broadcast products and propositions.
Customer Experience Improvement: Help service operators assess their customer experience and develop strategies and initiatives to support further improvement.
Regulatory Policy Development: Help international communications regulators assess and set policy, based on rigorous analysis and market research.
Previous Experience
We expect the successful candidate to have >10 years’ experience across consultancy and/or industry, in addition to the following attributes:

· Experience in the communications, digital media and technology sectors

· Strategy consulting experience at Manager level or above

· Direct experience working on investment advisory projects, or in a corporate finance/M&A environment

· Track record of developing existing client relationships and opening up new ones

· Experience in a client-facing role, managing outputs and expectations

· Demonstrated strong analytical and interpersonal skills

· Strong storytelling ability, able to craft clear and compelling narratives and recommendations

· Ability to communicate findings to multiple audiences effectively

Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

Desirable Experience
Strategy consulting experience at Manager level or above
Experience in the communications, digital media and technology sectors
Proposal writing and business development experience
Relevant network of contacts in our focus sectors
