Staff RF/mm-Wave IC Design Engineer

We are looking for a senior designer responsible for the development of innovative, leading-edge products for emerging mobile mm-Wave 5G NR application. This will involve design and development of RF front-end module using advanced Silicon and GaAs technologies. Additionally, depending on experience level, a portion of your time could be involved in mentoring other team members in contributing new and innovative design ideas. You will be a key member of Mobile Advanced Development team.


  • Design and development of Silicon RFIC circuits including but not limited to PA, LNA, switches, coupler, and detector for the mobile communications market, especially RF front-end module for mm-Wave 5G NR application
  • Support Silicon RFIC circuits integration into a multi-chip module (MCM)
  • Use of RF measurement equipment with the ability to troubleshoot measurement issues
  • Documentation and presentation of results to internal and external customers


  • Minimum of MSEE; Ph.D. degree preferred
  • 5 to 10+ years of RFIC Design Experience
  • Extensive design experience with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS
  • Experience in mm-Wave circuit design using various silicon technologies including SOI, SiGe, and bulk CMOS technologies is plus
  • Detailed transistor-level knowledge; Capable of design-supporting analog circuitry such as current references, bandgaps, charge pumps, LDOs, DACs, and level shifter
  • Capable of refining the simulation results to achieve excellent predictability for the first pass success
  • Strong background with RF measurements and characterization
  • Be able to work independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills
