Sr. SOC Infrastructure Solutions Analyst Columbia, SC 12-month contract Start is ASAP, or 2 weeks from offer Position Summary Responsible for documenting the technical requirements for the most complex of the area's projects and then putting together an overall design (within an architectural framework) to meet those requirements. Articulates technology and infrastructure standards to both business and technical users. Provides cost models and enforces architectural standards while meeting customer's requirements. Reviews high-level estimates to determine infrastructure impact and provide an estimation of hours required. Required Work Experience 8 years of technical experience or other job-related IT experience with at least six years infrastructure experience. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree (8 years of experience) Or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associatersquos degree in Computer Science (10 years) Information Technology or other job-related degree Or 12 years of job-related experience Daily Responsibilities Experience Skills and Qualifications Required 8 years of Technical experience or other job-related IT experience with at least six years infrastructure experience (Required) Excellent knowledge and experience with a wide variety of IT technologies and security solutions (Required) SOC Operations - IT Process Automation Orchestration (Required) Network Engineering - the OSI model, IPv46, Routing, Switching, DNS, VLANs and Subnetting, Taps, Load Balancers, SNORT, YARA (highly desired) Network Security - Firewalls, IDS IPS, HTTPSSL Proxies, SSL Interceptors, SIEM Products (highly desired) Strong Troubleshooting skills Candidate Technical Background A broad understanding of infrastructure, tools, technology services (e.g. MF, Non-Host, Storage, Network). Strong written, verbal presentation skills with the ability to communicate throughout the sales pipeline, at all levels in a variety of settings (e.g. RFx, implementation, 1-on-1, groups, with peers, management, executives customers). Strong facilitation and elicitation skills using standard methods (e.g. JRPs, JADs, Gap Analysis) Expert knowledge of Office productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement methods tools (e.g. defect analysis).
