The IT & Business Transformation (ITBT) department supports all the business activities of Sibelga. It allows efficient activities that keep evolving. It ensures that Sibelga is equipped with a stand-alone IT system in line with its changing needs and technologies.
Within the ITBT department, the unit "IT Production" is responsible for managing the infrastructure and the operation of systems and applications that support Sibelga's information system.
Within the IT Production unit, we are looking for a Team Manager Infrastructure Projects who will be responsible for
the management of the project portfolios regarding IT infrastructure & Security of the information systems
the development of the infra roadmap and its evolutions
the enactment of IT infrastructure standards and their monitoring in the different implementations
the design of IT infrastructure solutions
To carry out these activities, the Team Manager has two teams
Project Management: this team brings together the Infrastructure Project Managers, who manage IT infrastructure projects and the infrastructure tracks of application projects (currently 7 FTEs).
System Design: this team consists of infrastructure analysts who are responsible for the qualification of requests made to the IT Production Department, the design of IT infrastructure solutions and the monitoring of their implementation in our systems (currently 10 FTEs).
The Team Manager Infrastructure Projects reports directly to the Head of IT Production and manages two teams of 17 people in total.
As Team Manager Infrastructure Projects, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities
People Management / Resource Management:
You ensure the prioritization of the team's activities
You make sure that the resources match the requested workloads in terms of quantities and profiles required
You ensure the team's dynamics and motivation
You ensure correct top-down and bottom-up communication
You support the individual development of your team members
You prepare the fiscal years for the following years of service and follow up on the current fiscal year
You will be responsible for the contractual management of our service providers (contract monitoring, service monitoring, review of SLAs, etc.)
You will draw up the Infrastructure Roadmap and manage its implementation (EUR 1.5 M/year)
In collaboration with the Security Officer, you manage the implementation of the Security Roadmap (Euro 1.5 M/year)
In collaboration with Architecture, you define the guidelines for the infrastructure principles and ensure their application
You validate the infrastructure designs elaborated by your System Designers
You are a university graduate with a scientific or economic profile (Civil Engineer, Master's degree in Computer Science, Management,...) or a long-cycle equivalent (Industrial Engineer,...).
You have proven experience in team management (min. 5 years)
You have proven experience in project portfolio management (min. 5 years)
You are certified in project management
You have proven ability in the fields of IT infrastructure (virtualisation, Storage, Cloud, etc.)
You have experience with IT process management systems (ITSM), Omnitracker knowledge is a plus
You have experience with project management tools, knowledge of Planview is a plus
You can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes
You are rigorous and methodical
You have an understanding of customer/user service
Experience in the Utilities sector is a plus.
You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good knowledge of the other language. You are fluent in professional technical English.
