DescriptionThe Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Software Engineer will work with the engineering and test team to drive products from design to production release. You will perform various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. You will support product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. You will also ensure that production schedules are followed and products meet certain specifications and quality requirements. You must provide technical support to help resolve customer product related problems/issues. You will begin to make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for the project components.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applicationsExperience with Android APIs: Biometrics, Services, Push Notifications, In-App Purchases, Web View / UI Web View, Content Providers and Code Obfuscation, extending API's.Experience with Web Languages: Understanding of how to implement concurrent and parallel programming on AndroidExperience with Agile Development Methodologies, excellent understanding of Application Life Cycles in Android.Understanding and Experience with Build and Deployment Processes for Android Apps. Self-motivated and a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Work with management to talk through design plans, distribution of work, and time schedules.A developmental mindset with the ability to discern patterns, drive efficiencies, and lower total cost of ownership for technology processes and solutions.Ambitious and confident change-agent; strong advocacy and communication skills (oral and written) to interact with other SE teamsAbility to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives.Detail oriented with excellent documentation skills/methodologies, who is able to successfully manage multiple priorities.Ability to operate successfully in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organization.Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and influence leadership.Preferred QualificationsA good understanding of cloud platforms, consoles, and servicesA technical business acumen that ensures the organization is operating efficiently and effectively in a hybrid cloud environment.Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related dataPassion for and skills in resource optimization to improve cloud efficiency.Ability to apply critical thinking to all aspects of the position.Cloud certificationsMaster's DegreeScheduled Weekly Hours40
