You will have a unique opportunity to lead diverse and fast-paced teams working complex technical challenges in support of satellite communications programs. Electrical Engineers will interact with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, systems engineering and specialty engineering, as well as production operations, and program management. This position requires an individual with excellent technical, communication, relationship-building skills, and electronic hardware production experience. This position will be located in Merrimack, NH.Position Responsibilities: Lead design, verification and test projects for radio frequency, microwave, and millimeter wave electronics for space-based communication systems, including frequency converters, solid state power amplifiers, and low noise amplifiersPerform requirements and interface definition, design for test, hands-on testing, performance and design verificationTeach/mentor engineers and technicians on microwave/millimeter wave design and test techniquesResolve anomalies that occur during integration and testThis position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.Candidate musthave successfully adjudicated Tier 5 (T5) investigation within the last six (6) yearsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Associates Degree or higherin engineering computer science, mathematics, or physicsTwenty (20) years of experience or more in engineeringTechnical experience in the field of Millimeter Wave RF electronics design and Millimeter Wave RF testLab experience testing Millimeter Wave RF electronics hardware and tuning and testing lower frequency hardwarePreferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Experience in ECAD tools (Microwave office, ADS, Ansys HFSS, Siwave, etc)RF Communications subsystem engineering experienceExperience in leading teams of engineers and techniciansExperience with design/build of electronics for a space environmentBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics and experience in a professional exempt engineering classification is preferred.ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD years' related work experience, Master years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
