The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for developing a deep technical expertise and knowledge of his/her products and customers as reflected in the creation and execution of the product plan and customer needs. The product manager should have experience with Cloud SaaS, mobile and hardware products with an understanding of how to price and take these solutions to market.
The Sr. Product manager is an engaged, committed, everyday role responsible for delivering a product/solution. He/she understands and represents the needs and priorities of internal (eg, Executive Mgmt.) and external stakeholders (eg, Customers) well enough to act in their voice. They are accountable for ensuring the team delivers value to the business.
They communicate to the development team what to build and in the order in which to build it. Product Managers may be a daily participant for Agile Scrums. They are responsible for working with engineering to ensure roadmap deliverables are met and identify readiness criteria for product release.
Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and organizational goals.
Responsible for defining product strategy and positioning. Drive design, feasibility and definition of innovations and manages the ongoing evolution and strategic direction of Civil Identity solution portfolios.
Conduct cost/benefit analyses, needs assessment and data analysis in order to align strategy, design and business solutions with business objectives. Conducts research and assessments of market strategy. Build support for business strategy, change or enhancement across the organization. Leads and develops business requirement sessions.
Orchestrate, plan and execute end to end cycle strategy, development and implementation efforts for Civil Identity market segment
Identify potential risks, project charge, and scope. Design appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Lead efforts to identify best practices to drive product integrity and efficiency. Drive due diligence and requirement analysis required for roadmap creation, scope and execution for enhancements and/or product implementations.
Gather business needs from external and internal customers, separate signal from noise and determine the priority and value of needs based on analysis
Convert business needs/voice of customer to product roadmap(s) and own the proposal, execution and communication of roadmaps to internal stakeholders and at customer meetings
Manage Product IRAD investment including working with Business unit leaders on business plans, ROI and SWOT analysis.
Work with pricing team to provide technical parameters (including sizing, costs etc) and ensure pricing strategy is in line with the market, competitive products, and business goals
Execute on planned roadmap, working with the various engineering and project managers while managing global risks
Analyze potential partner relationships for the product offerings
Own and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Go To Market (GTM) process for defined solution portfolios while working with various cross functional stakeholders within the organization.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product(s) managed to support bids, presales efforts and program deployment and maintenance
Collaborate with User Experience Teams to ensure needs are captured in mockups and wireframes to be provided to engineering complementary to the Business Needs/Epics
Collaborate with other product managers within IDEMIA to ensure maximum reuse of existing components/solutions within the group
Provide governance and be the go to person between international business units.
Visit customers to solicit feedback on company products and services, etc.
Must be United States citizen (dual citizenship is not allowed per government contract)
Experience marketing SaaS and Mobile solutions to financial, banking and commercial markets is desired. Experience marketing to Federal, State and local governments is a nice to have.
An understanding of how hardware and mobile solutions tie to a SaaS offering is a huge plus.
Product management experience for both hardware and software required.
Experience with AWS cloud and moving products from on-prem to the cloud.
Experience with international product launch and working with international customers, teams and sales.
Knowledge of security and identity markets preferred.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies a must

Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in Engineering or Business preferred
Minimum 10 years Product and Solutions Management experience
Minimum 5 years of experience delivering products in the cloud.
