    About Autos

    Members lack transparency in all facets of car ownership. The Autos team builds experiences that help members save money on their auto loans and insurance, purchase/sell cars, and make better decisions throughout the car ownership journey.

    What You'll Do
    • Working with the latest Android frameworks, design patterns, and technologies
    • Influencing the features and direction of the app with your own ideas
    • Android Development using Kotlin and Java
    • Collaborating with the iOS and Backend teams on initiatives
    • Writing your own APIs in GraphQL
    • Collaborating with Product, Design, Analytics, and other engineering teams
    • Participating in code and technical design reviews
    • Implementing metrics and dashboards to empower data-driven decisions

    Minimum Basic Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
    • At least 6 years of industry work experience as an Android Engineer
    • Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
    • Experience working independently and implementing product features from start to finish

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Customer-focused and data-driven
    • Enjoys working on a cross-functional team
    • Strong technical leadership skills
    • Comfort with data analytics, testing tools, and A/B testing methodology
    • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
