The Senior Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure Network is responsible for all data/voice communications in the infrastructure. This position is committed to 24/7 support and is responsible for working collaboratively with the Business, Information Security, Data Systems, Applications and Programming teams to meet expectations and goals. This position is also responsible for strategic planning, building, and maintaining a networking plan for our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Create and execute roadmaps outlining the technology strategy and the investments in infrastructure to ensure network systems are meeting established service level agreements while staying consistent with industry best practices
Provide a "working manager" role to contribute to the technical success of the team
Establish key performance indicators and service level agreements for continually measuring and improving the performance of IT Network operations
Manage, support, and optimize all information technology network infrastructure including but not limited to: routers, switches, firewalls, PBX, and telecom devices
Contribute to the development, ongoing maintenance, and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
Maintains as-built documentation of the network ecosystem.
Monitor system performance, provide capacity planning, automate processes, perform refreshes/upgrades, and provide operational and technical support for network infrastructure areas
Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, statements of work, and other documentation for network projects.
Contribute to release management, change control, incident and problem management for the enterprise network technical support functions
Plan and manage the IT enterprise network budget, make recommendations to improve overall cost effectiveness of the network team
Create team members' performance goals/ objectives, manage and measure performance, provide on-going coaching and feedback, create career development plans with technology professionals / consultants
Mentor team members to continuously identify and recommend opportunities to leverage technology to improve the customer/workforce member experience
Works closely with other department management to meet expectations and goals
Performs other duties as assigned
LOCATION: MODESTO -OR- DUBLIN, CA
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Proven background in Network management
5+ years' experience in Networking, Cisco CCNA or Other Network Certifications a plus
10+ years' Information Technology experience
Project management skills in preparing, budgeting and meeting deliverables
Knowledge of network best practices
Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to include the ability to work with people from all departments in the company who have varying degrees of computer/technology/business knowledge
Strong leadership, managerial and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service and support skills
Education: Four-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
