Join us and make a difference.The IT Digital Capability Management (DCM) Mobile Solution Architect performs a critical role in the organization with significant impact on the development and support of the mobile application landscape. This senior position has accountability for mobile technology capabilities and developing the product vision and associated roadmap for mobility.The Mobile Solution Architect is accountable to program sponsors and program leaders for the execution of the mobile platform and adhering to security, data privacy, regulatory, and product requirements. Work collaboratively with the Business Partners and business teams to scope and implement mobile solutions with oversight and guidance from BMS IT technical area leaders.Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:In partnership with the Primary DCM, lead the development and implementation on Mobility projects, partnering with business stakeholders, IT Business Partners and Capability Delivery colleagues to define, plan for, prioritize, deliver & support strategic digital capabilities and ensure maximum value is achievedCoordinate with the business, agency and IT teams on the development, deployment and maintenance of the mobile application portfolio to the BMS, Apple and Google Play StoresAccountable for the technical delivery of the mobile landscape in alignment with the product roadmapIn partnership with the Primary DCM, manages the delivery of internal and external technical teams including solution architecture definition, technical design, development, testing, integration, and deploymentLeads the identification and evaluation of new technologies, delivery methods and application development methodologies and supporting toolsetsAuthors and/or reviews technical documentation including solution architecture, technical design and detailed designEnsure high performance, scalability and security of the appsDefine 3-year digital capability roadmaps in line with business roadmaps and enterprise architecture strategy; focusing on speed, quality, cost, and innovationSkills/Knowledge/Competencies RequiredFive (5) plus years' experience architecting and developing mobile applicationsExperience in the Pharma industry and understanding of the regulatory environment is preferredExpertise in architecting, developing and deployment of native and hybrid applications integrated with a cloud-based services layerBS (required), Major in CS, CIS, MIS or equivalent. MS or related advanced degree is a plusAWS Cloud certification preferredAbility to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirementsAbility to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternativesStrong communication skills and demonstrated track record in delivering resultsKnowledge of Mobile Device Management platforms (AirWatch) and Mobile Application ManagementDeep understanding and experience of developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (preferably AWS)Knowledge of Conversational AI/Chatbots is a plusExperience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and associated tools (Jira, Confluence)Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
