The YouTube Insights and Infrastructure team is tasked with making it possible for the YouTube business organization to run on data and make smart, informed decisions.
This starts with Infrastructure: building data sets and piping relevant data into and out of our tools and making it useful for analysts across the organization to drive reporting and insights. This function builds business requirements and interfaces with Engineering and Product Management teams to build pipelines, datasets, and workflows required to satisfy those requirements. In addition to the infrastructure, the team includes a centralized analytics center of excellence which supports the operations teams at YouTube with their strategic decision making. This team develops new metrics, sets organization-wide targets and is at the center of nearly every data-driven decision made in the operations organization.
As a Senior Manager of Business Insights and Infrastructure, you will manage a team of technical analysts that are responsible for democratizing YouTube's data for our operations groups. Youll set team-level goals and influence organizational level initiatives. You will drive the Operations Insights and Infrastructure team and the Product Specialist Insights team to execute against stated goals.

Manage a team of technical analysts, lead goal setting, stakeholder management and influencing, and manage day-to-day activities and deliverables of the team.
Act as the voice of the YouTube Business Organization in cross-functional projects.
Define YouTube business-wide goals.
Lead across the Business, Product, and Engineering organizations.
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience leading either consulting/strategy teams or a technical/analytical team involving strategy, data engineering, or business intelligence.
Experience with basic coding, relational database, and SQL queries.
Experience working with Python/Pandas, R, or other analytics or data visualization languages
Experience with marketing analytics, ROI/financial modeling, and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of the video advertising business model.
Ability to work in a customer facing or partner facing role, including in the context of negotiations.
Exceptional business and communication skills.
