Your new role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will become an expert in SECAMB's systems, taking on a leading role on projects and mentoring. You'll partner with internal and external stakeholders to build, administer and maintain reliable and robust infrastructure that will ensure the trust can respond effectively to any situation.
You'll operate across the Trust, helping them to solve problems that could mean the difference between life and death, and help senior managers roll out new initiatives and ways of working. You'll be a technology business partner, building a deep understanding of the systems that the South East relies on.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a strong communicator who doesn't shy away from tricky challenges. You'll be able to partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate business issues into technical solutions. You don't have to have managed, but you'll enjoy training and mentoring junior engineers.
Technology wise, you'll have experience of supporting and implementing infrastructure technologies and solutions such as storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software and off the shelf packages. Any experience in virtual and cloud would be an added bonus. You will need experience of working with Windows Servers, VMware and Citrix.
