RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Cyber Security Architect in Beloit, WI. Summary The Senior Security Architect role must have a great understanding of the Cyber Security landscape and tools along with experience creatingimplementing new Security architecture and features. Responsibilities include designing new architecture patterns, working on new technology implementations, performing security monitoring, event analysis, investigation and constructing countermeasures for today's threats. One has a solid understanding of network security devices, protocols, routing, and services. Key Tasks Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements Researching information security standards Conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments studying architectureplatform Identifying integration issues Preparing cost estimates Works closely with other IT and Business Architects to help roadmap and plan for the future Perform analysis of server, network, web and mail security events Provides support for the team on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis, when necessary Participates in the implementation and support of various security solutions, including application security design, assessments, testing and remediation, threat and vulnerability assessments, application and network penetration testing, and addresses any general security issues and incidents Analyzes data, trends, logs, and reports, and presents data in an organized, professional manner Evaluate, define, and assess application security requirements, including threat and vulnerability assessments Identifies and responds to the latest security attacks Performing security monitoring, event analysis Performing cyber security investigations Constructing countermeasures for Cyber threats Design, develop, and implement Cyber security solutions for various products and solutions, as required REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university Experience working as a Cyber Security Architect 5-7 years of experience in the following security incident response, security applicationstools administration, or operating system support Considerations will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in a diverse systems environment with System integration, system administration and computer security experience Experience with technologies generating security alerts Ability to work closely with business partners IT or IT security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or obtain within two years of Hire) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Capable of analyzing, understanding, and addressing complex applicationsystems security issues Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet target dates strong organization and documentation skills Be knowledgeable and confident in communicating information to peers, customers, and management Diplomacy to balance the needs of the business with rigorous information protection and regulatory requirements Work cooperatively and productively with others to achieve results Nice to have TOGAF Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
