Team owns server technologies, data & cloud services, and for making data actionable and useful for advertisers. In this role you will work as a key member of Data Activation team. You will design, develop, and operate components of our system to create a privacy compliant and performant way to manage data using big data technologies like Druid, Map-Reduce, Hive/Presto, Kafka, Spark, and Aerospike. You'll also participate in the creation of REST APIs for accessing the system by 3rd parties. This position is located in San Jose, CA or Boston, MA. What you'll be doing Design, develop, and maintain efficient large-scale data pipelines to collect and transform rich data using big data technologies. Design, develop and maintain data services with millisecond latencies. Design, develop and maintain the "Clean Room" system Conduct low level systems debugging, performance measurement & optimization on large production clusters. Identify, design, and implement improvements to current architecture. This may include internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, reducing cost, re-designing infrastructure for greater reliability, etc. Participate in architecture discussions, influence product roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility over new projects.
