Our client is a UK (London), a headquartered business that supplies insights and analytics solutions to mobile service providers, regulators, and analysts. They have now done business in over 80 countries and are looking for a EMEA Sales Director capable of engaging at CxO level (CMO, CTO) and closing complex deals (candidates should have experience of closing .5 - 1 million USD deals).
The position can be based anywhere in Europe and being multilingual would be a big advantage, as would previous small company experience and selling insight based value propositions.
As Sales Director, EMEAI you will be responsible for
Sales Strategy

Drive revenue growth and new product sales with target customers (primarily mobile network operators).
Execute an effective account management strategy to maintain and grow the business with existing customers.
Execute an effective sales strategy to win new high-profile clients in the defined territory including both direct and indirect sales models.
Work closely with Product & Marketing teams to ensure maximum leverage and return from HQ driven promotional initiatives.
Work closely with management and cross functional teams to successfully position our client in the market both in the EMEAI region.

Sales Performance

Develop strong business relationships with new and existing customers and drive sales activities to deliver significant growth from our client’s chosen markets.
Identify key territory and Tier 1 Mobile operator account targets and execute strategic campaigns with key decision makers to achieve new client wins.
Plan and execute a territory plan to maximise revenue for my client from the addressable market
Lead negotiation of business contracts.
Contribute to the global success of my client through close working relationships with other members of the sales team and supporting organisations.
Deliver results which exceed sales targets for the region.




Requirements


What we need from you
Skills/Experience

Experience as a quota contributor in sales with an exceptional track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business objectives.
Experience of working remotely in a self-sufficient manner within a highly dynamic ‘start-up’ environment.
Significant experience of selling innovative solutions with a consultative approach to mobile operators through direct and indirect sales models.
Intimate knowledge of the mobile telecom space across the EMEAI region.
Established relationships and active contact base amongst CTO and CMO organisations within the mobile telecoms market in EMEAI.
Demonstrable 'new business' results. Having taken new customer wins from ‘Prospecting’ to successful ‘Closure’.
Demonstrable 'account growth’ results. Having increased revenues at existing customers
Must have the ability to successfully operate on a short-term tactical basis as well as a longer-term strategic basis.
Able to reliably plan, forecast and consistently achieve sales targets and financial objectives
Commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial processes and business modelling.
Formal training in structured sales processes.
A good understanding of Cellular technologies, Customer Experience sectors, Network quality/performance metrics, operational structures and processes. Sufficient technical knowledge to handle 1st/2nd meetings alone.
Team player with strong determination to succeed.
Highly articulate with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Fluent in English language.
Flexible to travel throughout the EMEAI region (Minimum 25% of time post covid)
Candidates could come from a wide range of background - OSS, BSS, RAN, VAS, but they must be able to sell based on value and close complex deals. This proposition requires C level buy in so candidates must have the aptitude for that level of engagement.

Salary:

The salary package is completely dependent on the value the person brings and also location (please ignore any numbers quoted in the job board). The client is looking for exceptional talent.
