This role is based in Kingston in South West London (office based).





Our client is small but growing vendor of RAN location based services (LBS) solutions which are sold to Mobile Service Providers (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and security agencies. They are looking for someone that has a delivery / implementation background that has moved to presales.



The successful candidate will understand the network architecture of the Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Network & understand the complexities of integration projects. This will enable them to configure our solutions within the parameters of a customer installation.



They will be able to demonstrate deep technical understanding of their own products, to give us confidence that they will be able to grasp the intricacies of our products, in order to determine compliance with customer requirements.



They will have experience and skill in interpreting RFP documentation and have the capability to construct questions to help potential customers understand that their true requirements are in line with our technical offerings.



Other requirements are:

- Recruit, train and manage a team that can be grown from current level of 6.

- Must have had sales team management experience (minimum 5 years)

- Must have experience of 'soluition sales' where the sales process involves the identification and documentation of needs and the submission of written proposals

-Recent and direct knowledge of selling similar (emergency services/LI/Network monitoring) software solutions to MNOs outside the UK

- Sales experience of $1-10mn deals, with similar long sales cycle (12-24 months)

- Good project managment skills

- Strong technical understanding of mobile technology including LBS

- Smart, bright enthusastic with a rolled-up sleeves mentality

-Target driven and results focused - with a track record of delivering against objectivies and business development targets.



Able to travel for presales meetings and to coordinate and participate in deployments abroad with periods onsite (no more than 25% of their time) Will work sometimes long hours at critical times of the projects.



Foreign languages a plus – especially Spanish/Arabic
