Our wireless team is seeking an RF System Engineer to create our next generation products. In this role, you will be part of the wireless team and develop state-of-the-art wireless solutions.**Required Skills:** 1. Drive RF system architecture, requirements and validation requirements based on product requirements2. Design, model, simulate, and analyze RF systems for optimal cost/performance/size tradeoffs to meet overall system requirements3. Develop transceiver line up, frequency planning and RFIC performance targets4. Interface, evaluate and collaborate with third party chipset vendors on their product roadmap and offerings5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful RF system implementation6. Drive RF new technologies for adoption to Facebook products7. Prototype and debug new RF systems in the lab8. Correlate measured data with system models**Minimum Qualifications:** 9. Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience10. 3+ years of experience in RF design11. Experience in RF system level simulations and architecture/optimization12. Experience in wireless standards and how they impact RF/PHY requirements13. Experience with bench level wireless testing, debug, equipment, and setups**Preferred Qualifications:** 14. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering15. 6+ years of experience in RFIC and/or RF system design (5G-NR/LTE/Wi-Fi/BT/GNSS/UWB/WiGig)16. Understanding of transceiver architectures and their impairments17. Understanding of digital communication18. Understanding of RFIC circuit design19. Familiarity with RF system level simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, SystemVue, ADS)20. Expertise in developing RF architecture, RF link budget and co-existence analysis21.
