Description:The successful candidate will develop software to automate the testing of space flight or flight-like RF equipment for antenna testing. Projects are typically 1 year or less, staffed by small teams, and follow the software lifecycle: requirements, design, code, test, and maintain. The programmer will work with teams of software engineers, electrical engineers, antenna test engineers, and antenna test technicians to derive requirements, design, and develop C#, and LabView code. In addition they will configure software deployments, verify implementation, and maintain legacy code.
The work is ideally suited for either an electrical engineer who is talented at programming or a computer scientist who has previous experience and interest in working with hardware such as power generators, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. There will likely be times when the programmer is supporting other programs on the Waterton campus.
