RF Sensor Systems Engineer Location Arlington, VA ndash Exciting Range of Projects on Groundbreaking Technology Attractive Compensation and a Healthy Work Environment Employment Type Full Time We are looking for a Sensor Systems Engineer to join a team of researchers and engineers that focuses on developing RF applications and solutions. You will work with a team to perform advanced system and algorithm development using established systems engineering practices. Responsibilities Design sensor modes and develop RF hardware models (system level, component level), RF propagation and scattering models. Develop simulations of algorithms and systems for design verification and development Development of advanced RF hardware systems (radar, SIGINT, communications) Research on new algorithms for signal processing. sensor design Research on RF sensing and processing concepts Key Skills (Required) MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math or related field Programming skills including Matlab, Simulink andor CC++ U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance Experience in translating customer requirements to determine research focus Strong knowledge and experience in RF component technology and performance characteristics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Desired Skills (Not required) Active Security Clearance at the Secret or Top Secret (TS) level PhD degree in related technical discipline Ability to describe complex technical concepts to fellow researchers as well as to non-technical people Jump on board and enjoy a strong compensation package and an opportunity to grow and learn new skills.
