RF Microwave Design Engineer Location Arlington, VA ndash Have Fun While Innovating! Relocation Paid Negotiable Employment Type Full Time As a Design Engineer, you will be part of RF Microwave Team and you will be working on projects that will focus on analyzing and designing Microwave and RF solutions using electromagnetic simulation tools such as MWO, ADS, HFSS, CST or other design and simulation tools. You should be able to build Radar, EW, and Comms RF architectures and design and evaluate multi-chip PCBA designs from DC to 40GHz. Responsibilities Design frequency conversion, amplifier, and analog filter to interface to antennas and phased arrays Microwave and RF system architectures including frequency planning, system link budget analysis, cascade analysis, spur analysis, phase noise, gain, IP2IP3, and noise figure performance Develop test plans and perform design verification in the lab Collaborate system engineers to develop and document RFMicrowave hardware requirements Mentor junior engineers and technicians Key Skills BS in Electrical Engineering (advanced degree preferred) with 10+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience in 3D simulation of electrical interconnects and transmission lines Experience in microwave submodules like MMICs, combiners, dividers, low-noise amplifiers, pre-selectors, filter banks, mixers, Phased-locked-loops (PLLs), and Local Oscillators (LOs) Experience with RF component design simulation tools such as MWO, ADS, HFSS, CST, or similar Microwave measurements using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs) Expertise in design and RF cascade analysis and systems analysis Experience in microwave submodules ndash MMICs, combiners, dividers, low-noise amplifiers, pre-selectors, filter banks, mixers, Phased-locked-loops (PLLs), and Local Oscillators (LOs) Experience in receiver and transmitter design and analysis of RFMicrowave components and circuits from DC to 40GHz Experience with antenna design Experience with phased array design Send your resume to and work with a company that will invest in YOU!
