Job Responsibilities

This role will range from supporting RF design to production. We design Hybrid modules, RF boards, System in a packages (SiPs), and ICs up to 90 GHz and looking to go higher. This is a great opportunity for you to expand your capabilities working with our expert design and production team. Our products encompass a variety of RF components including: power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, ADCs, DACs, optical converters, and IC packages. You will lead a sustaining engineering team and work with a collaboration of system, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and system test engineers to ensure you can deliver a successful product. You and your team will be analyzing RF measurement data, resolving production design issues, and improving production yields and test times. Sound interesting? Keep reading....

Duties include

* Defining, prioritizing, and directing path forward to solving production/engineering problems of highly complex modules/systems
* Directing team to complete technical and/or operational objectives using delivered processes
* Getting "hands dirty" and performing test, debug, analysis, etc for ~50% of time
* Owning the sustaining engineering efforts for division/business unit in AZ
* Supporting CAPAs, cost reduction, EOL and continuous improvement of products
* Work directly with Contract Manufacturers and their suppliers to resolve project related issues
* Review and manage technical input to deviations and change orders


* 8+ years RF/Microwave design, test, and debug experience
* Experience with RF test and measurement equipment: Spectrum Analyzers, Noise figure meters, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, etc
* Experience with RF test and measurement methods: gain, P1dB, noise figure, TOI, adjacent channel rejection, etc
* Experience with solving production problems via data analysis (Test data records, Paretos, etc)
* Great communication and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* U.S. Citizenship Required
* Up to 10% travel


* Previous experience with frequencies above 10GHz
* AESA/phase array, Radar, SIGINT, or SATCOM experience
* MSEE degree
* Top secret clearance with SSBI/SCI
* Experience with Agilent ADS or other simulation tools
* Experience with HFSS, Momentum, or other electromagnetic simulators
* Experience with Cadence for IC development
