Position Description:
The Product Owner (Specialist) position is a valued member of the Information Protection and Risk Management team. This team member is responsible for functioning as the Product Owner role, as defined in the Agile framework. They will work closely with members of the SOC, CSIRT, and IPRM program to streamline the execution of program priorities as they pertain to the "Blue Team" while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or Components for the product.
This role is primarily responsible for carrying forward the requirements of the Blue Team, setting priority for epics / stories, and developing project planning / timing that allow for the prevention of resource burnout as well as risk.

Job Responsibilities:
Function as the customer proxy for SOC / CSIRT responsible for working with Project Teams and other stakeholders
Develop Project Planning and Timelines designed to be shared with Leadership
Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Qualifications:
2+ years of Cyber Security experience
Familiar with Incident Response Procedures and industry best practices
Strong knowledge of Cyber Security concepts and frameworks
Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum framework)
Minimum 2 years working as a Product Owner
