Private Networks 5G Solutions Director

Your main responsibility in this role will be customer-facing & supporting Dedicated and Mission Critical Networks related opportunities w/customers in North America. As a Solutions Director, you will own the solution, workshops, architectures, white papers and technical forums. The End-to-End 5G Solutions Director will be leading customer presentations and engagement. This exciting opportunity will be building the next generation of Department of Defense communications systems on 5G technology. Success is based on customer intimacy, building unwavering customer trust as a key priority.

You will:

Participate in C-Level discussions based on an end-to-end private network environment including 5G architecture and specifications, Cyber-security, RAN, Packet Core, IMS Core, OSS, SDP, Services, Managed Services domains
Drive the business models based on the market realities in Ericsson Business Areas and Ericsson North America.
Prioritize the customer needs and drive delivery of the customer solution
Support government meetings, tasks, activities, and deliverables

You have:

The ability to collaboratively develop architectures and solutions directly with customers
Extensive experience in Enterprise/Dedicated/Mission Critical Networks or small carrier-grade end-to-end networks
Minimum 10 years' experience working with Service Provider and ICT companies in Radio Access Networks
Substantial current RAN experience from sales/solutions in the industry ideally with 5G
Experience from working with customers on technical strategy evolution
Thorough knowledge of RAN evolution, ie 5G network transformation
10+ yrs. of research and product management experience or equivalent is required
Major exposure on how to price, sell and package Radio, Core and End-to-End Solutions
University degree in Business or Engineering, Master's degree would be helpful or equivalent working experience
Continuous learner mentality and can quickly pick up new technology areas and develop personal skillsets in these areas

You also have:

C-Suite level consultative selling skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead virtual teams in order to develop and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations
Domain knowledge from the customers point of view
A security clearance is helpful but is not currently required however you may be required to obtain a security clearance in the future
