The Tactical Space Systems Division organization has an opening for a Requirements Systems Engineer in Dulles, VA. Candidates should lead and be comfortable with the requirements flow down and management process, validation and verification planning, interface definition, and expertise with various engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo. The lead requirements role will include validating the customer level requirements and pulling from multiple inputs to develop the program level requirements.
The role will include support for major program reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR. The role will include interface with clients, as well as regular interactions with internal engineering associates and program management.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hard ware and software specifications.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 5 years of relevant work experience or 3 years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree
Must have U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Top Secret level clearance and the ability to obtain SCI level access.
Experience using DOORS and Cameo.
Previous Lead Systems Requirements experience
Experience coordinating the efforts of diverse stakeholders.
Position may be hired at a higher level with a Bachelor's Degree + 9 years of experience or Master's Degree + 7 years of experience
Salary Range: 101200 - 151800
Salary Range 2: 125488 - 188232
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
