What you will do:
Join one of Impinj's multi-disciplined product development teams developing our next-generation products.
Closely collaborate with product management, IC design and test engineers through all phases of product development to deliver new features and products.
Evaluate customer uses cases and collaborate to innovative RAIN RFID solutions
Conduct analysis and simulations to study radio system performance under various field scenarios and use cases.
Define system level specifications for RF circuits, analyze performance, power and cost tradeoffs.
Design experiments and test scenarios to characterize device performance in the lab.
Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Frequently influences business decisions made by leaders and senior leaders.
Serves as inspiring leader on area of expertise.
What you will bring:
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 10 years and a Master's degree; or PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent experience in RF comms, Signal processing.
Desired background in low power analog and RF circuits, electromagnetics, statistics and sensor networks.
Excellent understanding of RF behavior and fundamentals including noise figure, mixing, linearity, phase noise, link budgets and radio design trade-offs.
Knowledge of RF blocks such as LNA, PA, antennas, mixer, PLL, ADCs and DACs.
Experience in RF device characterization and model extraction.
Excellent hands on lab proficiency with relevant test equipment.
